Angelina Tube in Kiwi by Susana Monaco

I have attached 2 pictures of me wearing the top, one from the side view (pictured) and one from the front view (link). At first I had reservations about this empire line top making me look pregnant, as some babydolls tend to, but my fears were unfounded. I think the fact that this top skims the body gracefully rather than just ballooning out is thanks to the weight and wonderful drape of Susana Monaco's signature supplex fabric. It hugs at the right places - around the bust where you need it to be supportive and tight so you don't have to keep tugging up the tube the whole day long - and it just skims the rest of the body for a flattering and comfortable fit. The banding under the bust offers great support as well as a nice detail, as do the pleats in the centre of the tube. Any plainer and this top would have been really bland. I paired mine with plain white capris and found it a little too 'blank', so I accessorised with a diamante brooch pinned onto the band that encircles the bottom of the bustline. IRL the colour is less of the pale mint it appears on Shopbop's website, and more of a vibrant apple green. I love this top to bits - it's the perfect Spring colour, goes equally well with my white capris and denim jeans alike, and it's so comfy I could wear it the whole day.

Tube Top with Paile by White

This is the tube top in Silver (also available in Ivory), which would look killer on girls with olive skin tones--or if I ever get a tan! It is made of 100% Lyocell, which is apparently some kind of new super-fiber. This feels like buttery soft cotton and is so comfortable and form fitting and flattering. It fits snug in the right places, and skims the body in the right places, so there is no tugging to keep the top up. There is a seam a few inches from the bottom that kicks the bottom out a tiny bit into a slight flare. You can adjust the tie at the corner so that the paillette sash sits just right. At first I was thinking that this was overpriced for a tube top (and it is a bit pricey), but it is really comfortable, and I have gotten so many compliments wearing it. I am thinking of adding a few strategically place paillettes for added oomph, as I feel they are a little sparse as-is. I am normally a XS-S (0-2) and I ordered a XS, which fits perfectly.
