Cole Haan Alexa Minizip Hobo

> $195 retail, $70 paid
> Dillard's

I've always thought CH makes great quality bags for their price. At just about 11" wide, this little bag will pack all your essentials without overwhelming your frame. The store pic (not where I got it) has it pictured in black, but it also came in fun colors like Ocean (what I have pictured) and Raspberry--I don't think the style is unique or classic enuf to be in black, so that's why I ended up with Ocean, a really bold blue color a tad more "electric" than the pic shows. The leather is fairly soft (not quite rich or supple) and a in-between thickness. I love how the shoulder strap is adjustable--I have it at the longest setting (drop length ~11"), but the strap can go up to 4" shorter. In addition to the front flap, there's a side zip pocket, though I have no idea what it's to be used for, since there really isn't much room in there.

Although I think it looks pretty cute, I'm having second thoughts about it. If I didn't already have a blue bag (nicer, in my opinion)...and if I weren't over budget this month, I'd prob keep it. Dillard's has a 30-day return policy, so I've got some time to decide.

C&C Dynasty Tee in Peter

> $55 retail, $18 after sale + code
> Shopbop

C&C tees are known for being thin, soft, and long. Well, two out of three ain't bad. As you can see (I believe there's some belly cleavage in my pic!), this top is not as long as the classic C&C tanks and tees, which is probably why the model's wearing it layered over tanks. However, it is still a great bright shirt that I think will really pop w/ any outfit. And just in time for spring! The color in my pic is more true--yes, those are supposed to be the same color, believe it or not! The shopbop pic is more of a pure pink, but it's really a salmony orangey pink color. It's a tad sheer even in this color, so be sure to wear a nude bra underneath. Sizing seems to run a big large on this. I ordered an XS. It's "temporarily unavailable" on shopbop, but I have definitely seen it at other online stores.

C&C Logo Short Sleeve Fleece Top in Ballerina

> $80 retail, $22 after sale + code
> Shopbop

Like the Dynasty tee, this top is a lot shorter than the typical C&C tops. It reminds me of the tops I used to wear when I was a kid...very old school. It's not an amazingly special top, but I think it'll be a nice top for casual summer-wear with jeans. Again, the color is not accurate in the Shopbop pic--the pink is not as pale and is closer to the color in the IRL pic. Sizing runs TTS, as it's supposed to have a looser fit. I'm pictured in the small.

Juicy Couture Velour Off Shoulder Dress in Dragon

> $97 retail, $31 after sale + code
> Shopbop

Ugh--I'm almost embarrassed to put this pic up. It looks so dowdy on me and def does not flatter my figure. The color is nice (Shopbop's representation is pretty accurate), but it just fits so strangely on me. The top is very snug and the bottom is kind of baggy--you can't really tell this in the pic. Sizing runs TTS. I'm pictured in the Small. Without pants, this "dress" is pretty indecent on my 5'5 frame. Not much to say about this...'cept that it's going back!

Splendid 3/4 Sleeve Boatneck in Black

> $44 retail, $14 after sale + code
> Shopbop

This is a very basic black tee, so there's not much to say about it. I am, however, impressed with how soft and stretchy it is. The fabric feels so much nicer than the C&C tops I got with this order. These seem to run TTS, as the XS I'm wearing is a bit snug--but at this great deal, I'm not sending it back! This also makes the perfect outfit with my new Anna Molinari gold gypsy skirt down below.

Alice + Olivia Marzotti Pintuck Pant in Cream

> $264 retail, $84 after sale + code
> Shopbop

Okay, before I say anything, I should say that this really does not fit me, so who knows...maybe it will be flattering in the right size. I had always thought A+O bottoms ran small, since I had once tried on a teeny tiny mini in a size 4 and it was tight. This is how the 4 looks on me now. Click the closeup to see this more clearly in another angle. There's a LOT of room in the waist/hips...though I doubt I can fit into the next smaller size. Also, this is supposed to be "cream", but it's really nearly stark white. It's very long (I have them rolled up), the legs are so big on me...hopefully someone else will have better luck. Going back....

Diesel Canomi Skirt in Warm Grey

> $115 retail, $37 after sale + code
> Shopbop

I love this skirt! This is my fave item in my Shopbop order. It fits perfectly and hugs all the right places. It's so soft and comfy too! The color does have a pink tint to it as seen in my pic--def not a pure grey as the Shopbop pic shows. I'm loving all the little details--the button closure is at the side (you can see it in the side view pic) and there are 6 pockets, just to name a few of the details. The slit is in the front and back--unfortunately the slit is a bit too high for me to wear to work, but I'm sure I'll get lots of wear out of this anyway! I got a 26, which (i think) is my true size.
